Hanukkah, the Festival of Lights, celebrates the miracle of the oil lasting eight days in the rededicated Temple. For Jewish families in the Lehigh Valley, the holiday is a time for lighting the menorah, sharing traditional foods, playing dreidel, and gathering with loved ones.

Happy Kwanzaa

Kwanzaa, celebrated from December 26 through January 1, honors African heritage and culture through seven principles: unity, self-determination, collective work, responsibility, cooperative economics, purpose, and creativity. Families light the kinara, share meals, and reflect on the year ahead.
